new dress made by me
made out of vintage sheets... i'm trying to decide if the little one "needs" yet another dress or if i need the money more...so i think i'm going to put it in the shop either the etsy one or the one here in town i don't know just yet. but making this made me feel like i've got my sewing mojo jojo back. i was missing it for a few days.

So cute!
ooh, that is cute! I have been looking for a pattern like that. would you mind sharing what pattern you used?
i just made it up! but there are a few that look close to that in simplicity patterns...if i come across one i'll let you know!
v. i love your new background, it looks familiar, did you scan in your fabric? what a great idea if you did :)
That is adorable! Whatever shop it ends up in, the person that gets a hold of that one will be lucky!
The dress is darling!!
BUT, you said you made that dress out of old sheets????
I think i had those sheets as a little girl in my room w/ the varigated lite green shag carpet!
what a HOOT! even if you didn't it sure gave me a happy memory!
Thanks!
Adorable. You are so talented. Came across your blog on the cottage nest and love looking at everything you make! Keep it coming!
That dress turned out so cute! You have the best eye. I NEVER would have though of using a vintage sheet.
V, I helped my mother clean out my grandmother's house today and you would have been in heaven. She had an entire room of sewing supplies. And not just stuff, but good stuff. And it's errupting out of drawers and closets and boxes. Because of you, Kate and I have decided to pack it all up and sell it to different places to help pay for Grandma's care. (My parents just thought it should be all thrown away...but we've converted my mother to the idea of etsy...)
