jake's family has a cabin up in little cottonwood canyon and it' tradition to go up there and eat together as a family at least once a summer...
my favorite part of the cabin is the vintage kitchen!
it's soo nice and cool up there when it's super hot in the valley
the view from the front window...i mean seriously it's amazing.
and these are all the wildflowers that my son gathered up to give to his grandma for her birthday which we celebrated up there with the whole family minus jake's oldest sister and of course jake...maybe next year we can add a few more bodies!**and i'm keeping something from you guys that i found up in slc...lets just say that i'm getting some red paint and i can't wait to show you in the next couple of days!

I want that stuff in and on the hutch! Wow think of what that would sell for on ebay. (I know over your dead body)
I can't wait to see your surprise! Have I mentioned how much I love that picture of your kids on the top of your blog? I think even perfect strangers would get a kick out of that pic. Their personalities just jump off of the page!
