freedom banner

yesterday i started packing for my stadium of the fire excursion...and i got all patriotic that i had to make this banner. i was inspired by this post and added the word "freedom" to my banner. the project was easy and fun and i did it in an hour (while the boys were outside playing in the mud AGAIN, and katie was taking a nap)
this is the last post for the week i think seeing that i'm going to be super busy with festivities, a family birthday and a baby blessing...
have an awesome independence day and lets take a little moment to thank those women and men who bust their butts and make it possible to be the free nation that we are. this 4th of July is just that more special to me this year. and well, i hope you guys appreciate it as much as my family and i . now go buy some fireworks!

I hope you don't mind, but I put a link of your site on my post today!

I found your blog through a comment you left at Bienvenue. I love it! That's a great banner. I did a similar one with scrapbook paper for my son's room a couple of weeks ago. And I absolutely love the idea of using fabric in hoops as a picture!

I found you through my friend Kristi's blog...what wonderful ideas you have!

I hope your family has a wonderful 4th of July weekend. My husband is in the Air Force and so I knew exactly what your little star flag on your side bar meant. May your husband be safe as he serves.

Hope you don't mind me blog stalking. Felicia told me about your blog and I had to come and check it out. I love your banner, I just made one too, but I love the letters on yours. Your so lucky to have such an incredible quilter by you. I love your quilts btw, I haven' made one since I moved away from felicia. I just don't know anyone who can quilt as good as she can. Your blog is darling and your kids are gorgeous, glad I found it.
