i ran into his teacher at the grocery store, and she said that "nate is doing so great...he's working so hard in class and getting all his work done."..."um we are talking about MY son nate right?" then i had to ask "he said that this week he didn't have any homework so i didn't press it till i talked to you..." she answered "oh yeah, like i said he's been doing ALL his work, the class work AND his homework in class." my jaw drops, tears flood my eyes a huge smile spread across my mouth...i quickly say thank you and that she's a great teacher and go on my merry way before i make a fool of myself and cry in front of the teacher and the whole dang town that has decided that this was the time to do their grocery shopping....i owe this great difference to a great new teacher, the ladies at school that have become good friends, sticking to the token system and a ton of prayer...not just from me and GI joe husband but from family and friends THANK YOU! not only is he doing well in school he's got FRIENDS...

That is so wonderful, Vaness! I'm very happy for you! You deserve a break and it sounds like this is at least a semi-break, right?
