sooo i got bored...

now that the boys are in school full time the two younger ones and i walk around aimlessly not knowing what to do...and my sewing machine sort of quit on me (I KNOW!) so i'm going to borrow someones to complete my quilt but after that i'm sort of out of luck till i fix it or get a new one...anyone want to sell their bernina? that's the only sewing machine i'm going to upgrade to...i figured with as much sewing that i do i should have a Cadillac instead of a Pinto sewing machine...anywho i made this sign yesterday...
and the third monkey was bored too cause the little one was in bed napping and he didn't have anyone to fight with so he asked to paint with me...i said sure
made the sign let it dry boys came home...second monkey reads the sign looks at me and says "are we getting chickens?" hell no, just wanted a cute rustic sign to go up in my dining room (no worries i left out the hell no to the kid)

As always, ADORABLE!
My mom has had her bernina for over 30 years.
I know my cousins recently found one like it on craigslist.
It's a dinosaur but works great.
I am a horrible sewer, my mom did professional drapes for years. oh well.
i am nervous for my drive, gotta make it to spanish fork.

Totally cute sign... Did you use a template and free hand paint it? Love how it turned out it looks great!

I am so bored, doing laundry and not wanting to do anything, i might order some lunch. so lazy!
Everytime I think of driving in the middle of nowhere, I think of you. I guess though, you aren't right off the main highway or the 15?
I am going for a week. My husband will be gone for two weeks, but meeting me in SLC for the weekend. My aunt who is my age is in spanish fork, she just had #6, so i am going to see her too. I am trying not to think about how long the drive is.

roberts arts and crafts has chip boards in all sizes and fonts they are normally used for decorating the letters but i use them as stencils ALL THE TIME...

I would love a tutorial on this. Do you use a stencil or are you just so crafty that you can freehand this? It looks great!!!

Dude your blog is so high speed! So do I just click on the links for you to get money or do we have to buy something from the links?

Yes, chickens to chase along with 4 kids, just what you need! :-)
Seriously, just found your blog and read about your husband home on leave. Bless you all for your sacrifices for the good of our country, may he be home safe soon.
