"i'll watch your kids if you take my pictures."

...that's what she said and i laughed in her face and said "oh you're serious...you know i DON'T know what i'm doing, right?""...and i don't have an awesome camera right?"
"...and i usually just take pictures of my crazy kids and my quilts right?"
she said "i know, but i don't have money to spend on pictures, and you don't have a husband to watch your kids while you work out...so lets give it a try."
well, i still say i don't know what i'm doing and i just got lucky with these 'cause her kids are so dang cute...

For someone who doesn't know what she's doing (and no I don't believe that) you did good! These are pictures that will bring tears to the mommy's eyes 20 years from now. blessings, marlene

These are great and also the one that your friends took of your family when GI Joe was home. I have been enjoying your blog as usual and was wondering how it is going with Blissfully Domestic? I kind of slowed down with them with all the stuff surrounding the photos. I just can't be learning a new way to do it every other day. Let me know when they have settled on a way to included photos, will ya? Thanks!

Good job! I just took pictures for Melissa (my sil from apron girls) and her family... my first real "photoshoot", with the same qualifications that you have! ;) It was fun.

I am wondering what type of camera you use? They look pretty great for 'not knowing what you are doing'!

You did a great job! It's not just about the camera, it's about having an eye for it. And you definitely do.

Stop. It. Because apparently you have a good instinct because I think you take wicked good pictures. I seriously thought when I first started reading your blog that the picture you had of your quilt in your header was taken from a magazine. Somehow. I don't think things all the way through.
