is it spring yet?

maybe if i keep making springy sort of things for myself it will speed up the process...
love this new bag i made for myself. i had bought the rings to make it around december, with the intentions of making this bag a while ago. but i'm glad i waited till now because i think the color of this bag makes me happy.
(btw it's hard to take that close of a picture of yourself without looking weird doing it, but the man that was formerly known as GI Joe husband refused to take any more pictures for the blog because i was too..."specific" and "picky" and sometimes "mean"...and he didn't want the job of assistant to the blogger unless he got paid. he said he didn't deserve to work under those conditions and abuse... whatever...i think he liked it) mom if you are reading this...i'm kidding (sort of)...just wanted you to know that.

love the purse, the fabric is great. I had to show my husband the little post script about your husband...not that he takes pictures for me, it's just he and the girls think I'm nuts how many I take to get the right shot...all in the name of blogging I guess.

I think it looks great. I laugh about your husband - at he went to Forks for you.

So cute! Are you doing a tutorial on this. I live in Houston and it already feels well into Spring, so I am feeling the need to have things that are brighter. You are so talented.

I'm totally with you on the spring thing. The other day I wore my yellow floaty springy skirt and sandals. Snow be damned!

LOVE the bag!

"mean"
HAHAH!!

I'm afraid I know exactly what you are talking about... We have the EXACT same situation here, and yes, the words picky and mean have definitely been used. Poor men. When will they learn? ;-)

Oh, I wish we live next to each other. I asked Aaron couple times to take a picture of me and my stuff, I found out that we don't look at things the same way!

I recently found your blog and I love it! Are you going to make a tutorial for this bag? (I used your tutorial to make a nine patch quilt and it turned out so cute). Or at least sell one on Etsy?

hey do you know where i can get rings like this and how much fabric did you use? did you just fold in half sew together and then sew the tops for the rings to go through?
