my mother is visiting.
pan de vonosshe makes these wonderful little breads that i grew up on.

my husband actually even made up a song about them...that's how much he loves them.
before she got here she asked me to reprogram her ring tone to something " latin".i had calle ocho in mind but she beat me to it and figured out (all on her own) how to change it to one of the already programed ring tones in her phone.
reason for picking the ring tone:

I know what you mean about the cooking thing. Usually when we go visit my mom I ask her to cook plantains, rice and beans. And you know as I it's not just any rice and beans. AW man, it's soo good. Wish my mom lived closer.

as much as i would LOVE to give you the recipe...i can't figure out how to ad the arm jestures that go along with it...for little breads there's a lot of explaining that goes along with them AND a lot of arm flailing! so uh...yeah not going to try to attempt that one!

Are these little breads chewy and a little cheesy? Because if they are I too grew up with them and I would LOOOOOVE the recipe (if your sweet mother is willing to share). We never made them at home, we always purchased them and we call them pan de queso. Anyway, my e-mail is warlat@yahoo.com.
