Love your grandmother's flower garden block...they are so much fun...and so addicting!
OOOOO, you are just tooo good! I love that! I do not think I could ever make enough of those for a full quilt...But, I sure could make one to frame...:) So excited!!!!
I too love hand piecing that particular pattern. I posted in my blog that I will start a new quilt (have to start soon) as my contribution to SewMamaSew! a month of hand sewing.
Oh my gosh it looks GREAT!! I think I might try making one of those...wish me luck haha!
I love the colours you've chosen too! Enjoy having your family with you :)

Love it heaps and heaps
You've actually got me considering doing some hand piecing. (not at all my style)
What a lovely little flower you've made.
(And a fabulous frame too. Well done).
Andi :-)
I love GFG's! The hexies are just so addictive!
i'm gonna go broke b/c of you... you know i soo need one of those frames..
one day i want a house with a wrap around porch and one room with wood floors that were painted white and are now all worn... maybe by the beach.. so i can smell the water.. one day!
I need to get a good lesson in hand sewing. I pretty much bs my way through it. Right now doing that with little man home made ties (a project taking me months).
PS love the frames...now all I need is a barn to raid!
The frames are cute, but I have to say that $46.00 for a frame that only holds a 4x4 photo is waaaay more than most of us will pay.

I love how that looks, especially with the bear coordinating with it!
You've got an eye for style V!
I went to your Etsy page and wondered how big the frame is?
I understood that the picture opening is 4"x4" but how big is the frame overall?
thanks
Kel
Your blog is one of the happiest and most colorful I've ever seen! You just got me hooked on the grandmothers flowers. Thnk I'll have to start one (if I can figure out how). And your barn wood frames are beautiful! Gotta go find me an old barn...
I heart your old barn wood frames!
I like your flower garden block and the teddy bear.
Man if that opening is only 4 inches that garden flower is super tiny! i love it though! That is one of my favorite patterns. I can waste away alot of tv time doing those little babies! Super cute! Jenn
I love that! I have a couple squares of my grandmothers...what a great idea.
Wish you were closer.....I have a ton of 100 year old barn wood that I would share. Great frame but awesome block.
Love the frame and the grandmother's flower garden! Hope you are still having fun with family! Have an awesome weekend!
adorable.
:)
How lovely. I love how it looks in the frame.

Your hand work is beautiful!! Looks gorgeous in the frame :)
Ooooh, I love that pretty red center!
Great display piece for your pinup! Sometimes *lust* is a good thing!!
Ohhhhhh, fabulous. love it!
I am in love! The frame...the flower...the bear...all of it! I am in love!

I love that frame! I'm going to save my pennies and get one. I want it to go in my living room. In the meantime, I'll be making the flower for it! Love your ideas - ALWAYS!
Pretty! I LoVe GFG's...just not sure if I'm wired with enough patience to make a whole quilt - just like drooling over everybody elses. So, the one square in a frame sounds PERFECT! :)
cool idea!
Oh! I love that!!! I am not patient enough, so I will watch you make them, and comment on how lovely it is. ;)
First you make me want to paint (and with sparkle paint no less), then you make me want to get cows instead of goats. AND NOW you make me want to hunt for an old barn. Good thing I live I in the country. Bad thing... I wonder how receptive some of my neighbors will be to this.
Me: Knock, knock.
Neighbor: Who is it.
M: It's me, your neighbor that you don't know.
N: What can I do you for? (in my mind this is how my neighbors talk)
M: Umm, can I have a little bit of your barn? It's for something REALLY CUTE. I promise.
Very very cute. Love the fabrics you choose. The frame is gorgeous. You've got the knack! I have a neighbor who has plans to take an old barn down. Would you be interested? She's all into cute so she'd get it. It's kind of a big trip to Kaysville though. Mimi
and in honor of you i broke out my hexagons yesterday...
absolutely love it
ya know Vanessa, my old "small town" has this really neat RED barn that is falling down and they can't do a thing about it due to EPA stuff. They let me grab a bit off of it once, and, awww, I can just see these frames made out of it. Go visit Sandy...she'll know which one I'm talkin about!
wow! thanks ashli! love old barns especially to make country signs and to make frames out of em! ;)
the frame in the picture is 13 by 13 on the frame and 4 by 4 in the picture area.
