Hi Vanessa! I'm Marcie, from Eastern WA. I just started quilting last February and love it! I like to do most kinds of crafting...I like to recreate things I see online or in magazines or in stores. I'm a high school guidance counselor, lead high school youth group, and coach cheer (small town USA). I have a Yorkie Poodle named Samson and a gret family. I love White Chocolate covered pretzels, the letter "M", zebra print, Starbucks Peppermint White Chocolate Mochas, and Grey's Anatomy. :)

V,
Hmmm...I'm a Mommy of 2 ages 4 and 18 mths. I am a former teacher now a SAHM. I love to craft, read, bake, sing and rock my babies to sleep. I love a hot cup of coffee in the morning but my fave time of day is bath time when I get to hunker down and bathe my filthy lil' kiddos. Yep, I love those little bits!

I've been blogging/reading blogs for about 18 months and am always so amazed/inspired but also overwhelmed at times by all the super talented and crafty people from ALL over the world. I love crochet (clothes and amigurumi), sewing clothes for both me and my girls and making things for around the home. I am currently working on a quilt for my youngest (amongst other things!)I really love the things you make...very inspirational :)

Hi I am Marianne, I live in the Netherlands. I am a social scientist by day and a nestbuilder, crafter at night (and in the weekends). I love anything crafty, can't make up my mind what I like best, so I sew, I crochet, I bead necklaces and do papercrafts and.... Guess that's why I am not particularly brilliant in anything but I sure am having a good time.

Hi, I am Holly and I live in Alabama. I say y'all and drink sweet tea. I have been married 21 years. I have 5 kids from 10-19 years old. That makes me sound old, but I am only 41. I love to sew and craft and remodel and read magazines. (Ok, sometimes I just look at the pictures.) I home school, but not Duggar style, I yell at my kids sometimes.

Hi, Vanessa! I'm from Alabama too (Hi, Southerner!). I have a 2-year-old son who is hilarious and a seriously good dancer. My husband and I started dating when we were 15, got married when we were 23, and have been married for 7 years. I work full-time for a magazine, and I spend my spare time knitting and quilting (so my house is a DI-saster). I love your blog! Thanks for the inspiration.

Who, me?

Question I get asked the most: are you trying for a boy?

Sometimes I just make up answers.

Hey, My name is Debbie and I'm a mum with 4 grown girls, 4 in 4 years so that makes life interesting. I live in Australia in Queensland where it is hot and sunny at the moment but I like it. I work at our local hospital in the Psychiatric Unit which can also be interesting, but I like working there. I love all sorts of crafts from cardmaking to patchwork but usually only make smaller things like bags. Not into cross stitch though, I would be to fussy. I like beading as well. Well that's probably it for the time being. Hope you enjoy your Christmas.

A little something about me...hmmm, I can tell you that right now I am working on 2 pinwheel quilts for my daughters for Christmas and you were the inspiration! I love your blog! The other day I saw your plea for the boxtops and wanted to let you know I have some. I've been saving them, but as I said, my kids are homeschooled. I wasn't sure why I was saving them, but I guess it was for you! I'll gather them up and get out what I have, and start collecting again!

My [Grand]Mama taught me to sew when I was a wee Princess and now I (attempt to) make a living with my craft. I also knit, embroider, blog, eat, breath and sleep when I am not hanging with friends, staying out of jail, rockin out with my Son's band, and/or solving everyone's most recent crisis!

Love your blog as it inspires me and reading it helps me be the bestest Queen of Pro-Crasty Nation evah!

hi vanessa,

I'm Sarah, and I am the mother to the cutest little curly-headed blonde girl in FL (at least I think so...). My husband and I moved down here for graduate school, and 6 years later, we are almost both finished. I've been sewing since I could hold a needle, maybe 4 years-old, and now crafting and scrapbooking and gardening are my ways to connect with my family traditions (from IN) and to share them with my daughter while we live so far away from them. Thanks for the inspiring ideas!

Hello! My name is Dianne, and I live in Richmond, TX (a suburb of Houston). I have been a cross-stitcher for about 8-9 years, and a quilter for almost 2 years. I. LOVE. doing "home" stuff. I am married to the most understanding and reasonable man I've ever met, and we have 2 boys ages 4 and 14 months.

Elisabeth said...

Hi Vanessa-
I think you already know some stuff about me, but besides quilting, some of my other crafty hobbies are crosstitch and basket weaving. I actually took a college basket weaving class! And I have to say, it was one of my best and most useful classes. I wish I had taken more crafty/artsy type classes in school. It was my bday this past Mon and my husband took the day off and we went to dinner AND a movie- rare for us! The cake I had was Angel food cake with lemon curd and whipped cream. It was so good, I ate it for breakfast the next day! I got a couple of really awesome quilting books, Snow White on DVD, and temple clothes which is awesome. We live less than 5 minutes from the Boston temple. It rocks!
My kids range in age from junior in HS to a 2 year old. Our life is crazy!
We went and cut down our tree on Sat, and had great results! The tree is gorgeous, although I have to say that it was very warm that day so it was much more pleasant than your experience.
I just sent a quilt off to be quilted for my son for Christmas. (to my super fast quilter in S Jordan) It's my second quilt I'm giving as a gift for Christmas. I'm also trying to make a Christmas tree quilt wall hanging thing, but it probably will have to wait until next year.
Ok, that's more than enough. My comments to you are always way too long!
Oh, I hope you're planning to show us more of your Holiday decor because I want to see it!

My husband and I and our two children moved to middle Tennessee almost four years ago from Las Vegas, NV where we lived for 15 years. We love our slower paced life and I love that I have more time for crafting. We have a daughter (who will be twenty on Saturday) attending college and a son who is a senior in high school who will be 18 in February. We will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in January. I don't remember where I linked onto your blog from, but I do remember you were refinishing furniture and you were going to open a shop with a friend of yours. I love getting ideas from you and read your blog regularly. You are quite an inspiration. :)~Peggy in Tn

I am married to Jim and I have a 16 year old named Zach and I am 40 years old, and this year has been fun! I started college for the first time in my life, learning American Sign Language (it is hard!), I just ran my first 5K with my son on Thanksgiving morning and a few months ago I started sewing again after being introduced to it several years ago but lacked confidence, so I didn't continue, I still lack the confidence but still keep sewing and I have a pile of 1/2 finished quilts and projects, I love sewing and scrapbooking!
Thank you! have a great day!

Hi! I'm Courtney, and I adore your site.

I live in Philadelphia - my husband is in his last year of graduate school (optometry) and I am in my fifth (but last) year of college.

We have two redheaded boys named Nels and Jens, ages 2 and 10 months.

I am in a craft blog craze right now, but your blog is my absolute favorite. As students, we have no extra money for "homeyness", but your blog inspires me to try anyway.

And I'm pretty sure that if I lived in middle-of-nowhere Utah, we'd be best friends. Well, maybe not really. But I like to imagine.

Hi Vanessa,
I'm Alayne. Mom to a 3 year old, a 19 month old, and expecting one in just about 4 weeks (but secretly hoping for sooner as long as it isn't Christmas day)

I suffer from what my hubby calls OCD (Obsessive Craft Disorder)and am always working on several projects at one time.

My little family moved into our first home late this summer, and I can't wait to start taking down the heinous 80's floral wallpaper, and making over the fireplace, and painting every single room, and refacing the kitchen cabinents, and.......well, you get the idea :)

Love your blog! So many inspiring projects! Thanks to you I have spent many late nights and early morning hours with my sewing machine and hot glue gun :)

My name is Tanya, I'm 34, married and mother of an almost 4 year old little girl. I live in Nova Scotia, born in the country, moved to the city and now live in between the two!
I've sewn for a long time but recently got into it more heavily. I love to needlefelt too and make childrens sweaters with recycled sweaters. I love trying new things and move from one craft to another.
This past June to Oct I participated in a Farmer's Market for the 1st time, which I loved. I've also done a few craft shows over the past few years. Plus a few orders on the side have started to trickle in.
I absoluely love reading your blog, you have the best sense of humor. Your tree story made me laugh my head off.
Right now, my daughter and I are off to get groceries, stop at the library and pick up some things at the fabric store for an apron order I have. We are getting this big storm from the US this afternoon/tonight so we need to stock up! Maybe a storm day for everyone tomorrow!

I just got married 5 months ago.

I go to BYU and absolutely, kind-of, maybe more than a little bit, have a love-hate relationship with this snow thing that's going on right now.

I do crafts when I can, but mainly just save them in my head for safe keeping until I graduate.

I love burlap, hate pinto beans, and once copied your "this is a story" for my own blog :)

My friends would say I'm funny, my husband would say I can cook, and my mom would say I worry too much.

And, of course, I read (and love) your blog! :)

Hey, I am Jaime. I have been crafting since I was old enough to use my hands...my Mom taught me how. As a mother to 3 wonderful little boys (no, I am not trying for a girl!) I figure it is my sacred duty to pass the crafting skill on to them!

I enjoy all sorts of crafting, but being the super cheap person that I am, I usually repurpose the most out of all!

Thanks for sharing so much of your ideas. I am loving the SYTYC challange, the tutorials you post, the little funnies you add and your sence of humor. (it is so nice to know that I am not the only one with "quirks" that torture my family!)

I love checking in with your blog and seeing the new things you come up with (the lime green necklace-ADORE!) and I especially love your decorating style. I checked my mail the other day and got a package with your name on the return address. I thought I was dreaming, and then remembered I ordered the banner kit from your etsy shop! My name is Tiffany. I'm 25 and a mommy to two little girls, 3 and 1.5. I stay at home and teach violin lessons on the side. Hey Vanessa, I am a mom to two beautiful children Asher(2) and Abbie(9 months). I have a strong desire to be a SAHM but I have to wait a couple more years; as my husband is getting ready to enter Pharmacy school in the next year. I have been artsy since I was 3, but once I got married I stopped painting (as both pregnancies were happy surprises). Now that I have young, get into everything kids, I can't have oil paintings or watercolors laying about. I still needed a creative outlet, so I started crafting. It has been fun, though I am still learning how to make my sewing machine behave. My creative outlet also leads me to do a family blog as well as a creative one. It leads me to awesome blogs like yours, and I appreciate that people make it easier for us to craft with style. Thanks

Hi Vanessa,
I am a huge fan of your blog! I check everyday! You are a great inspiration!

My name is Jessika and I am from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have a 25 month old boy, and a great husband!

I love crafts, especially cardmaking, and being creative with fabric! I also love sewing, knitting and scrapbooking!

My only wish is that there would be 25 hours a day to give me more time to do all this fun stuff!

I'm Ella, 35 yrs old, everyday wearer of many hats... mostly SAHM to 3 ages 13, 9 and almost 8, distant SM to a sweet 10 yr old SD (that we all miss immensely), soon to be mom again in March, small biz- food concession manager in the summer-fall seasons, grateful and proud DW to an amazingly hard-working DH, church nursery coordinator, sister to 2 awesome brothers- 1 serving our country, DD to 2 phenomenal parents.

This next year my goal is to incorporate more time spent wearing the lesser worn hats that nourish my soul and fill me up: scrapbook artist, interior designer, DIY remodeler, gardener, family chef/baker, seamstress, photographer, home organizer, best friend, great listener, etc.

I'm a good speller, when I'm not making words up. My grammar isn't as keen. I have trouble with run-on sentences. I have a knack for memorizing numbers. I believe in a 6th sense, it's called a mother's instinct! I believe in a 7th sense/ability (the true psychics). I believe in and love God! I love color! I love little ones! I've been blessed with uneventful pregnancies, natural labor and deliveries. I'm hoping to share that blessing with a couple as a gestational surrogate one day. I'm also hoping to fulfill my creative yearnings by finding a hobby/past-time that I can turn a profit doing. I love ballet and hope to return to dance classes one day!

I grew up in Manti. I once went on a double date with my brother. His date was from Loa and was an absolute sweetheart (she was a Chappell).

I love to craft and create. I wish so badly that I could decorate my home but I love too many different decorating styles and am unable to make any decisions. So, I sit in a house with plain walls and I am envious of anyone who has a definite style and can make it happen in their own home! Unfortunately, my inability to decide carries out into the rest of my life. Fortunately, my decision to marry and have kids was a no-brainer! I'm coming up on 12 years of marriage and have three kids.

I am a SAHM of 4 little girls. My oldest just turned 5, so they are all still very little. I love to sew for them, and they love it too! I found your blog when I was looking for a fabric flower tutorial, and have followed ever since. I am a homemade kind of girl, and love your tutorials!

Hi, I am crazy and sad at the moment. I am a sahm mom to 4 kids although one has left for college he still needs me or my money :)
We got up at 5 am this morning to take hubby to base to leave today for Afghanistan. Kids and I are sad and tired. I live in NC in a 1929 four square home that I love. I don't particularly like the town but love the house.
I love all crafts but get to working on too many at one time then have a huge mess which is not good as I hate clutter. I love chocolate and dislike most meats.
I like to read but lately only have time to skim magazines. I have a sister that has been publised twice with her artwork and she inspires me. My best friend is in Texas but comes out to save me from insanity two times a year and helps with my show in Cameron. Other than that- I am tired, lonely, happy, cold right now, hungry, sad that hubby is gone, anxious about the holidays and just trying to relax.
I am Tammy.

Hi, I'm Genell and the mom of 5 . . 4 boys and a girl. My oldest is in medical school and married to my wonderful daughter-in-law, Gina. They are the parents of my beautiful granddaughter Ella. My dauhter if off on her own and works. My next son is in college and just got back from a two year mission to Spain. He thinks he's Spanish. Then my next son works full time and is contemplating college. My youngest is a junior in high school. My husband has had chronic pancreatitis for 8 years. Therefore I started a housecleaning business that allows me a lot of flex time to take care of everyone. My goal for 2010 is to take care of me and to learn to quilt and make a lot of the things I've found on blogs like yours. So that is me in a nutshell.

Hi! I'm totally in awe of all your creative types who keep me glued to the computer! I love to craft, sew, quilt, knit and dream of designing and supporting myself with it. Now, after taking 6 months off, I am currently back in the job market, but wishing I didn't have to be! (my dog is hoping I can stay home, too - he loves having company all day!)

Hello....I am a new mom to a 6 month old little girl and a wife to someone that is handy! We are missionaries living in Nigeria, working with children and a rural community (huts, no electricity, etc) I love to be creative, I just don't always know how to or have the resources. We don't have too many craft stores in Africa :) My recent project has been my daughter's bedroom and I have loved blog hunting for creative ideas!

Hi Vanessa! I'm Heather. I live in Central Ca. And I blog stalk you on a regular basis. You inspire me! I love your designs. I made your twine balls for fall. I painted them brown and orange and left a few twine colored. I love to craft, but I have a two month old so it's not always easy. Thanks so much for your tutorials! And I know ALL about the Dr. Pepper addiction! Except since I'm feeding a two month old, I have to drink caffeine free.

Hi Vanessa, Does it ever seem weird that so many people know you, your house and your style but you don't know them?? Well, I love all your projects....I'm a mom of three girls, 6, 4 and 6 months. I live in Utah and I love to knit and sew. One of these days I'm going to make a quilt, but I have yet to do it. I'm busy sewing small projects and knitting lots of baby and kids projects. I love the outlet it gives me in my life! Plus the quick satisfaction of a small project, you get to see the outcome fairly fast! Thanks for sharing all of your great ideas...I love them.

Something about me, eh?
Well I'm Kelly. I'm the big 30 and have 2 fabulous kiddos and one on the way in July (oops that was a secret--oh well).
I'm a visionary but a procrastinator.
I am a woman but cannot multi task--not if my life depended on it.
I can only hear one conversation at a time and I do not have eyes in the back of my head. This is an advantage that my kids have just recently lighted upon:)
I am a Christian and attend church every Sunday with my family, however it seems I'm in the nursery more than in the service since I'm in charge.
I like to be in charge. It makes me feel important or something.
I am a foodaholic, especially junk food, and I love love love a good cheesecake. But hold the cherries.
When we were first married my hubby went on a lot of over night business trips. While he was gone, all I ate was kraft dinner.
no seriously.
Breakfast.
Lunch.
Dinner.
I know I'm a geek.
Glad to meet you.

Hi V! I'm Esther, mommy to 3 and a surprise on the way. I sew, crochet, and knit, though none as often as I'd like being that my toddler messes with my sewing machine and tears apart yarn every time I get it out. Ah, Motherhood. I live in Utah with my sweet husband and two of our children; his daughter lives elsewhere with her mother. I'm supposed to be finishing a quilt for her for Christmas ... Blast. I'd better get on that while the toddler is sleeping and (thus) not yanking my fabric out of my hands.

Thanks for the invite to share :)

Well Hello V! I'm Jennifer, or Jenn, or Mom, or maybe even hey you! - depends on the day... Married with 2 kids - 8 yr old girl & 10 month old boy. I know - why did I wait so long! I live in Arlington TX smack dab in the middle of the DFW area. It's cold in the winter (1 month of the year) and hot in the summer (11 months of the year). But I always enjoy quilting and creating crafty things for my kids and family and friends. You have given me a lot of good tips by the way. You are my inspiration. Your blog is the first I seek out each day when I log on. I'm a fabric-o-holic. I would rather spend my last dime on a fabric scrap than myself anyday. I've almost converted my 8 year old into quilting too. I started quilting when I was about 20, but first learned to sew when I was 7 from my grandmother. She taught me how to make little miniature hand tied quilts for my Barbies. I'm a bit of a control freak - but if I wasn't nothing would get done. We Moms have to stick together. Oh and I like how you never use caps when you type!

We have 10 grandchildren, with the youngest boy still young, 23, in the Army, and not attached. So, still have to wait for him to find a wonderful young woman, get married, and have more grandchildren for me! LOL! I am not being pushy with him! LOL!
I love to quilt! There isn't a day that goes by that I am not cutting up fabric or sewing. It is my heaven, my relaxation. I am currently working on a Harley Davidson T-shirt quilt for a client, and another client is waiting in the wings for the same thing. I am also working on a Spiderman quilt for my youngest grandson. He is 7.
I have 3 dogs and 7 parrots, these are my babies now.

I haven't shaved my legs in ALMOST two weeks. How is that for personal? Luckily I have thin hair that grows fairly slowly. Besides, it was -16 degrees this morning. No one is seeing these legs anytime soon.

Hey V. I live near the city you call civilization, but wished I lived in a small town like yours.

I have four kids (the youngest is two months) and avoid changing diapers like the plague.

I love reading your blog and want to copy all your projects (the ones you encourage us to copy).

Other than the fact can't pull myself away from the computer to do my "chores" before I head out to my favorite night, "Bunco night", and leave my perfectionist husband here with no dinner and a messy house :P I hate the question tell me about yourself. Where do I start? Who am I? Maybe it stems from not knowing who I was for a long time. In the last few years I am beginning to see who I am and what I love, even if it is girly glitter! But how to put that into words, I still don't know yet. I have a couple easy sewing projects in my craftroom, but I really should have a clean house first before I get to that. So in this lazy mood, after running to IFA for some feed corn, the cotton shop for some calico, my mom's boutique to support her, then picking up my 4 yr old boy and his 2 girl friends from preschool, and then a playdate with him trying to play spiderman and they little mermaid, i retreat to my favorite blogs, and chatting on IM with my little sis, 13 mo younger than me. I'm just glad the 2 yr old is napping, and in 2 hours i leave it all behind for girls night!

I am Jen from Salt Lake City and I think everything you do is just gorgeous! I have a little boy and 2 little spunky girls and a husband in graduate school. He wants to be a farmer (which is not what he is studying mind you)...so the stuff you write about getting cows and canning endlessly and living in a small town makes me laugh, a lot! Anyway, love all that you do! Thanks for the inspiration and all the laughs!

I'm the gal that found a ton of inspiration online with all the fixer up makeover junk ladies blogs! I love it! Now I'm fixing up junk and making my house into a home I LOVE. Met some wonderful people and enjoy this more than tv! Busily crafting a homemade Christmas. Work at a University and looking forward to 2 weeks OFF over the holidays. Love my job and the gals I work with. Mom to two 'grown' kids. My baby is still home, just turned 18 this week and hopefully graduating HS in the Spring! She's a handful, my best friend and my laughter machine!

I'm Heather. I live in Huntington Beach, California. I run on the beach a few times a week. I have two big dogs, Moses and Paris. My boyfriend is also my ex-husband. I'm LDS. I'm running for HB City Council. And, I'm realizing that the hardest part of running for office (for me at least) is drawing attention to myself and boasting about my accomplishments (which is totally what candidates have to do.) I love your blog. I'm also procrastinating as I'm writing this. :)

Hi Vanessa,
I'm Sophie and I'm 22, studying medicine in England. I stumbled across your blog a few months ago and since then I'm addicted! I love your sense of style, it's what I want my house to be when I can finally move out of student housing and into my own! (Only 2-3 years to go.... sigh...) You inspired the purchase of my first ever sewing machine - a lovely little red one. I'm trying to start my first quilt but what with studying it gets put on the back burner a lot! Thanks for all your tutorials, they're lovely and clear to follow :)

Hi, my name is Shelly and I'm addicted to craft blogs. I got an iPod Touch for Christmas last year and spend a good portion of time checking - and rechecking - email and blogs. I have an 8-month-old who still gets up at night, so I'm on the Internet in the wee hours too (see?). I play piano for Primary, currently live in Texas but grew up in Phoenix, and have an awesome pilot husband. I like long walks on the beach and most things chocolate.

I love following your blog. I keep a blog, too, but don't post quite as often b/c I'm so busy. Thanks for sharing so many wonderful ideas!

Hey Vanessa! Well, I'm Kaye and I live in Toronto Ontario Canada. I'm a graduate student getting my Master of Information to become a librarian (my last paper of the semester is actually due today, woot!) and I also work at a library on campus. I, of course, love sewing and quilting and just "making". I also love to bake and read and just hang out with my partner, Alex.

We've been having a lot of fun getting ready for Christmas and Hanukkah (Christmukkah if you will); we have both our tree (my first real one!) and our menorah. We don't have any children, but we do have a fish. His name is Uther Pendragonn (named after King Arthur's father).

Hi Vanessa I'm Cheryl. I live in Oklahoma. I'm forty-something and the mother of 2. My kids are grown and I've been sewing (in some form) for most of my life. About 10 years ago my Mom and I took a machine quilting class and we are hooked. I'm a city girl that married a farm boy about 4 years ago. We built a house on the 80 acres that he grew up on so that's where my profile name comes from. Life on the the farm is a very differnt experience for me. You're not old enough to remember the TV show "Green Acres" but honey, I'm livin it! That being said, I've managed to get him and his family to buy into my philosophy that I will do anything you ask me too as long as it doesn't require me "breaking a sweat or breaking a nail!" Hey, it works for me!! Love your blog! Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!

Hi Vanessa! I'm from Kansas and have two young boys. I've made a quilt for my oldest, but haven't gotten around to making a 2nd but have 100 in my "want to make" pile (love your pinwheels version). I love reading blogs and getting so many ideas - I used to be addicted to magazines, but now its blogs. Have a great holiday!

I'm sure you remember how annoying it was when your college roommate Alicia had her little sister come and stay for the weekends, but I loved it and here I am now on your blog. As someone who is admittedly craft-challenged I need ideas and I've gotten some great ones here, and told lots of friends about them too.

My husband and I live in St. Louis now where he is in graduate school, and while the student life is pretty meager we love it. We have two daughters (3.5 yrs and 1.5 yrs) and they keep things lively. I love running but I've realized that I still won't do it unless I have a race planned sometime in the future, and I love baking. Cooking dinner? Well, that's Tyler's forte but I do it most of the time because I have to or we don't eat. I've also just started learning how to sew and I was truly giddy when I sewed my first sleeves on a dress up Christmas present for my 3 year old! It's the simple pleasures in life, right?

Have a great Christmas! We'll be at Alicia's where it will definitely be warmer than here!

Hi V!

You live in Loa??? :) You could send me some cheese! (is there still a cheese factory there?) I grew up in Monticello, so I understand the whole rural, small, underfinanced school thing. If I didn't have a 4 year old at the local elementary's preschool, I'd totally send you my boxtops! We live in the boonies of Nebraska where we run a farm/horse ranch/horseshoeing school. My buckaroo and I have been married for 7 years this month and we have one gorgeous little girl and her two strapping little brothers. I LOVE your blog and since I discovered it via SYTYC, I've checked in every day for inspiration. Thanks for sharing your talent with us! Luvs, Millie millicentbutler@hotmail.com

Love to hear about your escapades as a mom. Reminds me of those fun days raising my four in Raymond, AB, Canada. I love to sew and have turned to quilt making the last 5-6 years. Now if I can just get 2 quilts done for Christmas, I will have only 2 for next year and all 13 grandbabies will be done!

Hi V, I'm Colleen from Ft. Worth. I discovered you through my sis in law, Larissa Z. I love crafting, but I'm a single mama/fourth grade teacher so have NO time. My creativity is sucked fully into my job (which is good for my students, I suppose!) I love to see the awesomeness you create, and I marvel at how you have time and energy to do it all.

Hi Vanessa! I'm Mandy from NSW, Australia. I'm a SAHM, with 3 children under 4. I laughed so much about your Christmas tree blog - that story hit close to home! I followed your lead and really lightened up about the decorating this year. My hubby and my two girls helped, and surprisingly the results were really good. I just love your decorating style, thanks for all the inspiration!

Hi, I'm Shelley from northern Maine and I've been here before admiring your painted toenails and lovely red shoes..those are model feet you know...you should try to sell that!
Anyhow, guess I never told you much about me...I'm a mother to six grown kids, grandmother to 8 with another due in the spring. My two youngest are in college the three oldest are married and the one in the middle is my best looking son!
I like quilting and crafting in general. I'm sort of like the 'jill of all trades, master of none type'! I can do just about anything I read about how to do; not perfectly, but pretty well. I stress out like most people trying to get everything done on time...I tend to procrastinate or have too many things going at once. There. Confession time over...need a coffee.
Tootles.
