 Well hello! 

With everything going on in the world right now with the COVID-19 life has shifted quite a bit at our house over here as I assume it has for you too! I hope you are able to stay healthy and indoors as much as possible as we weather through this crazy time in our lives. And since we all have a bit more time on our hands at home...it's a perfect time to introduce a new pattern for our newest V and Co ombre called Ombre Fairy Dust Which should be showing to stores world wide right now but with everything going on, shops are to call their Moda sales rep or order directly from their websites. The fabric will be shipping in August of 2020. 

So now to introduce our first quilt of this group!

OMBRE CROSSROADS uses all 32 colors in the bundle (and uses all 32 colors in the Ombre Bloom bundle which is available now and as well as the ombre confetti which is also available now)

 This quilt measures at 68" x 88" finished so it's a great large sized throw to cuddle under while watching a movie or to throw on the end of a bed. Want to place it on display? That's what we do for a short period of time and then we end up using them! 

These ombre fabrics are so fun to work with and EASY to work with because we show you in the pattern just how to cut and where to cut the fabric so the quilt turns out exactly like the cover quilt.  

The different shades in each ombre helps create a great multi dimensional pattern with so many shades. Its been a great dream to create patterns just for these fabrics. It's the only thing I've wanted to do since I became a fabric designer. :)

 We are SO SO excited to be adding to our V and Co Ombre Family! Introducing Ombre Fairy Dust for Moda fabrics by V and Co. :)

 32 colors with shade of dark on the selvages running light to the middle of the fabric. We are so excited to show you the projects we created with these guys!

If you are a quilt shop then you should talk to your Moda rep to get the scoop and to see these babies AND the projects that go with them!

 Same beautiful 32 colors (though we are only showing a few of them in this picture!) and 2 background fabrics. (We'll show you more of that too!)

This ombre comes in all 32 colors bundled together and comes in cuts of Fat Quarter Bundles, Jelly Rolls, and Dessert Rolls and Half yard bundles. We have patterns for each of these pre-cuts! (except the half yard bundle) 

First we have:

 Ombre Carnival! This pattern uses 2 Dessert Rolls  or 10" cuts of all 20 colors included in this bundle. The quilt measures 56" x70" finished and also uses our Confetti background fabric featured below:

This background confetti in white is so awesome! It brings to life those stars and gives it an extra bit of wow!
The backgrounds come in gray, black, two beiges and white featured here. Ask your quilt store to carry them, or check out some online stores to see if they carry them! (these ship to store July 2019)

Our third new pattern is:

Ombre Flower Bouquet This pattern is one of my favorite quilt patterns because of how dainty and fun these flowers are and how the ombre totally plays in the flower blocks!! 

This quilt featured on the the cover takes one Ombre Bloom Jelly roll plus a little extra lime green ombre for the leaves. The quilt featured on the cover measures 56" by 70" and the second smaller quilt measures 56" square. 

I will have to say this is one of my favorite quilt patterns we have created for the ombre fabric!

Okay first up is Confetti

 Named after our new ombre because doesn't it look like confetti being thrown around? This pattern comes in three sizes and uses a fat quarter bundle to make! All 20 colors are used in this quilt but it looks like you use so many more fabrics because of the gradient in the ombre fabric. In our pattern we specifically show you how to cut the ombre fabric to get the look! It also includes color diagrams and images. This would be a great pattern to try out our V and Co ombre fat quarter bundle we have in our shop. or mix and match the Confetti ombre with the regular ombre as well! This is a great beginner quilt.

 This beautiful quilt uses all 20 colors and measures at 47" x 57 1/2" and is the perfect small throw size  for a child.
