easy last minute holiday decor

because my holiday season has gone by in a FLASH. i've had to try to incorporate some last minute holiday decor around the house...with things i have.

case and point this center piece was made of all thrift-ed finds of the past.
i've used this glass candle holder cupcake stands before. so i thought why not a bowl?
placing the bowl on top creates a cute holder of things
like say ornaments that were not placed on the over populated with kid ornaments hideous tree that inhabits my living room.

i think i could incorporate this idea for other seasons too! what would you put in it?

What a cute idea. Eggs at Easter time would be very neat too.

Don't forget to throw a little green in there, like the cuttings from the bottom of the tree. I have these kinds of things in the bathroom and it brings the smell of Christmas in there as well. An easy fix to so many rooms in the house that you want just a little touch of seasonal decor.

It would look good with some glittered pine cones.

I liked the ornament bowl I did last year so very much that I left it out all year. Tis all red ones and adds a splash of color.

And that tree is not hideous you goose. It's the most beautifulest tree evah! ;)

Love it!!! I have some recycled florist type clear glass vase's with silver and blue ornaments in them that I use each year, they are great because I do not have to store the ornaments in the boxes I just put the whole thing away:)

Chocolate. Unless it is a big bowl. Who am I kidding? Even then I would put chocolate in it. But that's just me.

Hershey kisses and mistletoe. Then every time you walked by you could have a kiss. :)

It looks beautiful! I have a ton in a pretty bucket on my table. I think they're simple and pretty. And I was too busy with Etsy stuff to think of anything else! :)

Merry Christmas to you and family!
