Ooo oo! I heartily recommend Shannon Hale's "Book of a Thousand Days". I seem to remember you liked "Goose Girl" so I think you'll love this one, too. Also, her "Austenland" and "Princess Academy." I'd loan you mine, but people are already borrowing them!

Btw, your blog has inspired me to be crafty, so I made my niece a Christmas stocking. It turned out way cute, if I do say so myself. Kate can back me up on that.

Ok, I started to make a list for you here, but it's so long that it's ridiculous for a comment.

I'm working at this moment on a post with all my favorite books that I've ever read (at least the ones I can remember...). I've been meaning to do this for a long time, so thanks for prompting me to actually do it.

Being out of good reading material is one of the most painful things ever! Someone poor orphan child might go hungry on my watch, but no person shall be left without a good book to read on my watch! Check back to my blog in about an hour. I'll probably keep updating the post as I think of things but I'll try to get the majority of them entered tonight.

Wow, do I sympathize with you. We've been getting snow about every other day. Last night and still snowing is in the 10-14" range with some ice mixed in for good measure. Work called off I am going nowwhere today!

I am reading The Letters by Luanne Rice and Joseph Monninger as part of an online book, and so far, I'm enjoying it (it's a short one, less than 200 pages). I've got a link up to your bandanna tutorial now as well as one to bandanna shorts!

I double commented and deleted it. Sorry, that's what I get for being impatient with the computer, I suppose.

UGH. That's all I have to say about more snow and the massive storm coming this weekend and the stupid below twenty temps. I'm working very hard at convincing my husband to fin a new job somewhere in the South.

I try to convince myself shovelling's good exercise, too, as if it makes it more fun.

So what is that that you are drinking? It looks tasty.

I had to shovel twice yesterday. Maybe I'll be skinny when winter is over. :)

Have you read "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" I think there are four of them.

V,

I don't remember how I found your blog, but I love to see all your cute projects.

Anyway have you read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It's a deep thinker kind of book which I usually don't like but, I did enjoy this one.
