my before and after

well i promised bonnie that i would do a before and after, so here it is, don't you looooove the blue? would you be soooo jealous if i told you the inside was that color too? i'll do before and afters of some of the inside another day, i'm definitely still working on things, ( i need my friend brooke to come over here and do her magic with bead board, what do you think brooke, you and kate up to a trip up to the country?) mainly we've just primed the walls with white, where most people are painting their walls a different color we were just going to plain white! when i post the pictures you'll see why!!!

as for the house it's not my dream house but it will do, it provides a roof over our heads and a place for us to call home. i keep envisioning all the things i want to do to it, but i have to remember all in due time, and this isn't our "forever" house. so i can just wait and do with what i got...

Vanessa, remember me?? I saw a link to your blog from Kim's and thought I would check it out. I LOVE what you have done with your house. It looks so awsome--I wish I had some of you decortaing talent. Glad to here you guys are doing well--sorry that your hubby isn't home with you all. Take care.

You have worked some magic on the outside for sure! It is amazing what a difference a few changes can make! I can't wait to see BEFORE and AFTERS of the inside! You should definitely lure Brooke out there to help- she astounds me with her "can do" spirit. The things she has done HERSELF on their house is just amazing! I think it is a gift to have vision and see what something "could be." We recently bought my husband's parents' house which is 38 years old and COMPLETELY outdated. We have been living in remodel chaos for over a year now, but it is finally starting to take shape! Good luck with all your pending projects (and everything else too).

Hey I just had to tell you thank you so much for my gift. I LOVE it! I haven't done my table yet, but it makes it look so much better already just with that on it. I have been meaning to tell you thanks earlier, but witht the move and all things have been crazy around here. Well I love checking in on your blog and I know what you mean about the not being your forever house and only doing things you can when you can. Luckily there is a lot I already love about my house. Thanks again, and your talents just amaze me.

I don't know, I kinda liked the blue...

Just teasing! I don't have great decorating sense, but I'm not THAT bad! Your changes look fantastic. Can't wait to see shots of the inside, as well.

We were just up in Utah for a week-Paul had a conference in Bountiful. I should have gotten your info so that we could have connected, but I didn't think about it until after we had left!? I spent a couple days with Kelly (Reneer) McCaleb- I know she would love to see you too (she asked if I knew where exactly you live, which I don't:)). Next time- and for sure when you are in SLO we will have to get together!

Vanessa! What a great transformation. No more blue...love the star and isn't it amazing what a lawn can do? Totally fabulous...cannot wait for the inside unveiling!
