kindness...

a wonderful friend from wisconsin was kind enough to share part of her wonderful second hand find, this gorgeous quilt block with pieces to fix the "much loved" areas. i got it in the mail yesterday. i'm planning on fixing, framing, and putting it in katie's room, thank you so much for your kindness!

and then my friend who everyone thinks we're related because we kind of look alike brought over fresh corn from her garden. we had corn on the cob and it was grand. i am truly blessed.
did i mention only one more day till you know what? i can see where this is going...WHEN HE GETS HOME!! NOT SEX geez...dirty minds
3:55 pm is when his plane gets here. i can't hardly focus on anything.
i'm a mess.

Just BREATHE! Enjoy every second with your hubby because it will go by all too quickly! ps I'm doing an internship with planned parenthood, so if you need any supplies for "seeing him" let me know! ;)

YEAH! for GI Joe coming home in 17 or so hours! And I hope that not only is there lots of time visiting and playing with the kids, but also time spent doing you know what. :)

"IT'S" got to be the single most important reward to not seeing each other for so long, makes it super exciting all over again.
Although our week long stints usually end up with me being so glad to have him home, that I just dump everything (emotionally) on him, and the kids are nuts, and all is as though he never left.

Are you wearin' your skirt? You know, the one that you made yourself so he can see what a great job you did?

Have a fun day :o)

I am so excited for you! and of course some of it is about the sex! but, on a more serious note...tell your husband thanks! i thought about how excited you had to be yesterday, and how ironic that he came home on 9/11. and thanks to you too v....you are an incredible gal to do what you do! what a sacrifice!
