celebrate the boy month

first off, thanks for a wonderful shop update success! wow. really thank you.
you guys are awesome, and you make my creative juices run on high speed.
i've already come up with a ton of more ideas for this blog, other blogs, and my etsy site.
now to try to figure out WHERE i can squeeze it in. i'm sure i'll find a way. :)

okay.
ever notice how much girl crap we throw at eachother?
i mean from cute hairbows, dresses, decor, you name it we love to do it....FOR GIRLS.
well dana over at made along with rae of made by rae are having a month long celebration of creating great things for boys. we so need that.
and i've been asked to have a small part of that gig.
later on this month you will see a project made by me on dana's blog when i guest post.

i'm also guest posting at another blog later this month.
i'm kind of busy.
and i like it.
so without further ado, you NEED to check out dana's project for the 90 minute shirt, and rae's cute boy shirt transformation.

these two ladies are a couple of the best. they think outside the box. they are amazing with what they come up with.
i'm honored to be asked to contribute, and i'm excited to see with what they have lined up for us!
now back to focusing on my boys' room and trying to make it look a little less...uh...hospital roomish.
:)

v and co loves her sponsors please check out the fat quarter shop!

Yay! As a mom to a boy, I struggle with finding projects to make for my little guy. Can't wait to see what everyone cooks up!

I'm so excited about the celebrate a boy month!! I have been waiting for this since I haven't been able to get the creative boy juices going for myself! Also do you still sell the tutorial for the charm pack banner (I think it was) on your etsy site? I didn't see it yesterday when I looked.

I spoke too soon, I see it on your tutorials link:)

awesome! I need to celebrate my boy as he just turned 2. It's hard to think outside the box for boy stuff. Girl stuff is so much easier!

BTW- i love your scrabble messages. I feel like I'm reading ransom notes!

Glad you had such great success with your shop update! I need to follow your lead. Maybe in a couple years. :)

I have 3 boys (no girls). I need some boy friendly ideas.

This is a great idea. I actually have a grandson who loves stuff I make, but this Christmas the only thing I could think of to make him was a bed monster.

I'm so glad they are doing this too - we moms of boys have been getting the shaft for too long! It seems like finally stores are carrying more cute boy stuff..for a long time there would be 90% of space dedicated to girls, and a tiny bit to the boys - i think all the girl stuff is cute and fun, but jeez, I get it! Large flowers and tutus are great, but moms want their boys to look adorable and stylish too!
