this is a story...

the happenings around the house
since the first day of school.
i am recovering from a nasty little "something" that attacked my insides off and on this weekend...slowly i am making it back to life. slowly...we will see what i can accomplish today, it may just be rolling from one side of the bed to the other to get a different view of my room...we will see.
here's to not needing to see the bathroom too many times today!

Aww! I love how they love each other :)

And I hope you feel better soon! I'm recovering from a bout of ick too so I feel your pain.

Too cute! I love your story! As a mother of a 3-year-old, I have to remember that they live in the moment - it's so hard for them to understand that tomorrow WILL come! For my little girl "tomorrow" is any day after today, and "yesterday" is any day before today :-)

Have a great week!

It touches my heart when I see a patient, loving dog watching over children. What a sweet story! Thanks for creating it for us. It's a great way to remember this time, and you'll look back on it someday and won't remember your illness. You'll only see the story.
Best wishes for getting well!

I hope you're feeling better, soon. My daughters have had walking pneumonia, and my son was on the verge of getting it (if that makes any sense). Thankfully, I haven't been sick, other than worried sick about them.

Hi--I teach first grade and you know that story you told would be an awesome picture book! I'm not kidding. My students would be mesmerized and then all start talking about their dogs and there would be a buzz in the classroom. You should send it to a publisher!

dana said...

haha. so cute! You are a good mom to let your kids have a dog. I know my kids (and, ah-hem, my husband) would love one. But I just can't bring myself to that point yet. Probably down the road.

I've been missing your blog. I'm finally starting to catch up on everyone's stuff.
Hope you're well!
Fun that you had a giveaway :)!
talk to you soon!
