things that make me snort laugh

seriously i love to laugh.
but what i love even more than laughing till i pee my pants, is when my family is right there with me and laughing just as hard.
my kids and i started watching wipeout last year but...let me tell you it just keeps getting funnier and funnier. these last couple of episodes had me and the kids rolling on the floor.

i just recently found awkward family photos
oh my hellvens! talk about laugh till you snort good times! this picture is just one of the oh so many that made me laugh so loud it made my kids run in from the other room.

my kids also love for me to read to them every night. did you notice how i didn't say "i love to read to them" and so if i'm going to be an awesome mom who reads to them its going to be something that is either something i meant to read when i was in grade school but never got around to it, something i kind of want to read but don't know if i can muscle through it (like the harry potter series.), or something that makes me smile and chuckle. 101 Ways to Bug Your Parents was the perfect book to make me chuckle and smile and the boys LOVED it. i'm ordering the next one 101 Ways to Bug Your Teacher. as scary as they sound...they are not that bad and i liked them pretty well.

seriously, i think i've said this before...if i didn't try to look at life in a humorous way and laugh at things...i'd be crying a lot more and who wants to cry when you can totally snort laugh and look at things on the bright side?
have a great weekend!
i'm at girl's camp and will hopefully be alive and well and blogging on monday again... we'll see.

uh yeah internet down for 15 + hours equals me not being able to get to my post to re-write it. must be almost that time of the month because things like this happen to me right about that time.

How long does your girl's camp last?? Didn't you go last week? Thanks for sharing you humor with all of us to remind us that life is more fun if we are laughing instead of crying.

My mother used to snort laugh, and anytime I hear someone doing the same it makes me think of her. Believe it or not, your children will love remembering that part of you. Plus I think it's just so therapudic.
This my first year to not go to girls camp, and... I miss the girls but not the camping!

We love Wipeout too! DH makes a big bowl of air-popped popcorn and we all sit down to have a good laugh before bedtime.

I'm a laugher too! And, oh, gosh... the Awkward Family Photos website is sometimes almost unbelievable that people would actually dress that way... LOL

That picture is the funniest thing I've seen in a while, imagine if you were them and you found that on the website- how embarassing!! I guess that's what they get for doing something so ridiculous!
I think if you start reading HP you'll like them, I don't really like fantasy but HP is my one exception.

honestly--how in the world did she talk her hubby into posing that way, never mind in an Eeyore costume!

I can't even get my husband to wear something the same colour as the rest of the family! Gheesh!

not that I want Steve to wear an Eeyore costume--but maybe I should ask him to and then matching shirts won't seem so bad ;)

Hi V.
I absolutely agree about laughing rather than ctying. Laughing definetly comes out on top.
That photo is a bit frightening. Do you think that family knows that, or do you think they were shocked when it came out online?! ;)
Have great week at camp. Oh and btw, read the Harry Potter's. Even with their crazy lingo they are a fast read and well worth it.
Pinky swear.

I discovered that wonderful website a few months ago and spent a couple hours going through the entire thing, absolutely laughing my head off. Now I subscribe to it and get a little (or big, depending on the picture) laugh first thing every morning when I open google reader. Great start to the day! If you haven't gone through the whole thing, you definitely should, it's worth it!

My daughter & I both snort when we laugh and my husband teases me mercilessly about it. Because the fact that she does it is clearly *my* fault. He says we sound like pigs, but laughs like a donkey. I ask you, which is worse?

I am not off to look at other people's Awkward Family Photos. Let the snorting begin! :)

Have you seen the mullet family.
Ohmyheck.

And the comments left by readers are sometimes funnier than the photo itself!

Oh thank you so much for the link to Awkward Family Photos. My husband is out of town tonight and now I have a whole new way to waste time that involves laughing until I cry. Bless you.

We love to laugh too. Our 3 children are all funny, but especially our middle child, AReli 7. She is LOL funny pretty much every day. Since getting a laugh is so highly coveted at our dinner table, Dad and I get a great show every night! I see that in your family too. Many of your posts made me laugh out loud, which made me read your entire blog the first time I found it and it's why I love your blog. (: ~Page
