i'm trying to take pictures of jake and the kids. it pains me to no end that we havnt taken a family picture yet that is outside, it's just been so cold, and with katie being sick with a nasty cough i just can't bring myself to do it! so when jake has a few days inbetween washington and afghanistan, sometime in april we are already scheduled with a lady here in town, i wish i could have my friend maggie do them because she's amazing but, i have to do what i got to do with the resources i got...here's the mini me of jake, or so everyone says so!

That is so sweet--definitely frame worthy. New family pictures will be something GREAT to look forward to!!!! Now, who's going to a) chop their hair off in a weird spot b)scribble on their face with permanent marker c) break a body part and have a very noticeable cast put on d)or be too grumpy and refuse to smile?!?!

So cute. How long will Jake be gone? You should get in touch with my daughter, Jen's sister..Laura found as Lou Lou Italia on my blog..her Robert has been deployed and she knows how hard it is too. He was in Japan for six months when they were hit with Katrina in Mississippi. Right now he is in Africa but only for a week..not so bad.
How handsome! Those pictures will be great to have while Jake is gone. Your family is beautiful!
