thankful for my noisemakers

my friend maggi who took our family pictures (and the picture on my profile) sent me an email to look at a blog of a little girl she took pictures for.

i cried and cried.

and then i thanked the Man Upstairs for my wonderful noisemakers and for their health.

some of these little special people who come into this life and bless those around them for such a short amount of time i believe, is because they are so darn awesome that they only need to be here for that long.
go take a gander at their blog give them some caring words and then go call or hug your kids.

The words can even come...but my heart is so sad for the loss that wonderful family has had. Time to have a new perspective and be truly thankful for my wonderful, sweet family.

Oh, so sad and so cherished to have had this special special little angel!
Yes, we sometimes forget to be thankful for our small blessings!

I cried and cried too! What a way to start a morning. I am so blessed to have had 2 beautiful, healthy children who now have 2 beautiful, healthy children each. However, I have a co-worker who has a precious new little boy that was born with this and 4 other heart problems. Their first child. See http://clinkscalesfamily.blogspot.com. He has had his first surgery and now awaits his second. It is heart breaking.

Nothing like a good big cry in the morning. Thanks, V. :) That is a beautiful baby, and a beautiful blog.

I've followed Gracie for sometime. I think Maggi was the one who pointed her out to me too. An amazing family.

That was heart-wrenching. Thank you for sharing. What a beautiful family and what a beautiful spirit they have about them. Reading things like that put life into perspective a little more. Did you read the extra verses to "I am a Child of God" that she posted?! Oh, my. It was all reason enough for a good cry. I am going to go play with my crazy (thankfully healthy) kiddos. Thanks for the reminder!

I am a pediatric nurse at a children's hospital. What I see everyday is truly phenomenal! Children with chronic illnesses still being children and their parents loving them that much more. I love being able to take care of them! Prayers lifted up for this family and the loss of their precious baby girl.

that's really sad. the girl i worked with in monterey at the dentist office was married to a marine. she got pregnant a few months after they left dli and he went to iraq. during one of her routine appts they diagnosed her unborn son with hlhs. they flew her husband home from iraq and the baby was born a few months later. he's 2 1/2 now and acts just like a normal toddler. they're preparing for his 3rd heart surgery next month. i had just had aidan when she was pregnant and found out. i cried and thanked God that i had a healthy baby.

I can’t imagine. Thank goodness for eternal families. A few weeks ago I was up late reading about another family & their sweet angel, Cora Paige (http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/). I also cried. Afterwards, I just wanted to crawl in bed with my sleeping kiddos and hold them tight. I am so very, very blessed.

V,
My visiting teacher told me about her niece that just died from this same thing and when I clicked on the link you put up, and saw her name, it is the same little Gracie. It is a small world. Living where I live and seeing all of the little children that are sick in my ward makes me grateful for my little monsters.

I found your blog yesterday, and that has to be the most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen. And then I noticed that she passed away on the same day that we welcomed our new little girl into our family. So sad...
