sundays suck, and things to come

i hate sundays, it's the hardest day of the week for me. it's suppose to be the Lord's day and a spiritual day. not so much for me, it's pretty much my own personal hell (yup, it bumped walmart with kids off the list), but i go because i have to, God told me to. enough said about that...only roughly 7-8 more sundays to dread and go through till GI Joe husband gets home...7-8!!! i can't wrap my mind around that! it's not real till he's here.
anyways... i'm always on the lookout for some vinyl tablecloths with good prints...why? oh well you'll have to come back next week to find out what i make out of it! i was so happy to find this tablecloth at walmart, pretty cheap as well, so that makes it even better. i'm starting to work on them today! any guesses?

placemats....with four kids, I should have made mine out of some cute vinyl like that....my husband doesn't understand why I remove them everytime we sit down to eat. Men....sometimes they just don't understand us!

hi V,
I'm assuming that's your man. You've got a good-looking keeper there... I'm so happy that the time is getting closer for him to be home! It will be a great homecoming!!
Curious about the tablecloth....hmmmm.

I love that GI Joe Hubby is wearing his hat! That cracks me up. I think the only time I don't remember him with a hat was on Sundays.

As for the tablecloth I'm voting a bag of some sort...although I saw this great tutorial for a wreath. So maybe a wreath?

Can you make a temporary husband out of a vinyl tablecloth? I guess it wouldn't have to be a holiday print to do that. Although you are very serious about your decorating. You may want the home-made0-hubby to be in keeping with the decor.

trust me if i could make a temp husband out of vinyl i would. just to snuggle up next to at night would be nice... and he'd look so pretty.

He might be a little on the cold sticky side though...

I cant imagine how hard it is for you through the holidays without your DH. Thats a nice picture of him. He is very handsome.

No idea about the table cloth. Guess Ill have to keep watching to see.

Merry Christmas.

Countdown is sounding more manageable. BTW, that's a handsome picture too.

I can't imagine what you're going to make but hope to find out soon as you'll probably make me want to run out and buy some of those tablecloths too before they're gone.

Ok, I just have to tell you, I love, love, LOVE your blog! I wish you lived near me, I would have you come decorate my home and organize it too! Anyway, I feel your pain about Sunday's. My husband is in the bishopric and it can be hard sometimes. Thank you for showing us all these fun projects you do.
