Wow! That is amazing skill for an 8 year old. Was that drawn while looking at a picture or just out of his head? And I love the new header photo! It's true to life.
pretty sure he was looking at a car when he was drawing it. but the other day he came in frantic saying "mom...quick...paper! i see something in my head that i want to draw!" and he drew a pretty cool airplane...i think he has artistic talents
Awesome! Much better than I can do! I wonder if there are "online" lessons or anything he could do? Or there might be an artist in your small town that would be willing to give him lessons... it would be worth looking into.
He draws way better than I do and I am 27!!! What an awsome talent to have. My oldest likes to draw too but way more into water colors. Your little artist!!! Oh and love the picture below of your son Kyle!! He is helping you cope with your kitty's. ;)
I LOVE your new picture but then again I loved the old one too. Your kids are beyond darling and SO talented. I am really impressed with you 8 year old artist! What a guy!
The secret life of bee's is really good! Let me know what other books you love-i'm a book nerd too!
I don't think you are biased at all- that is amazing talent right there! He must have inherited some of your creativity!
Amazing artist and I LOVE the picture on your header :o)
I wish I was going. I got an email that said no!!! But Burg is going with her 3 girls! Sorry! I am now SAD Thanks alot!!
Vanessa, Nate is great! Piper loves art too. I bet he is much happier away from school for the summer. I have a cousin that is a famous artist now and he started just like Nate just drawing things he saw in his head and copying other pictures. His work is amazing now. I did a post on his work in Feb~I can find it for you if you want to see it. His name is William F. Reese and you can find him on Google too.
That is pretty sweet. I used to do drawings like that when I was in Kindergarten and stuff too. You may have the next Picasso on your hands. I changed my area of concentration in my major to art education, so maybe I can be an art teacher soon, then Nate and I can have fun! :)
