this is my sis-in-law chadley and her husband rob’s backyard. i love the vibrant colors i love the mirror, i love love love topiaries, soooo you know i’m loving it all.
anyways yesterday i decided that i was no longer going to be inspired from a distance…i’ve actually started my transformation from “winter yuck” to “summer yum”.
the planting has begun, i spent yesterday planting flowers and vegetables. today i am going to go buy a few more pots for my garden, i’m painting some outside "furniture" and I can’t wait to show you my progress tomorrow! Happy planting (even though all of you have been doing it for a while already!)

I got home tonight, my husband was with us but got called to go to washington for work. I drove home with the kids. I start feeling a little scared being home alone till I remember how tough you are.
I have never gardened, but I want too. I have seen kelly's where she is doing it in large wooden boxes. It looks cute. Happy Gardening.
Those backyards are amazing, love the great colors.
What an awesome yard! I have pictured something like that for myself many times...just never seen it put to life. BEAUTIFUL!
I can't wait to see all you've been up to!
You left a girl and came back a woman! J/K But it does sound like you are recharged and ready to take on the world beginning with your yard/garden. Isn't thrift store shopping and yard sale deals the best!!!!! Take care lady. And I SOOO miss you too!!
wow!! i miss green!
I so love California for all its green and easy growth. But there can be so much great stuff up here in the sticks of Utah too. I've seen some really pretty wildflower gardens that I LOVE! Anyway good luck, I love gardening even though I can't keep a single thing alive from one year to the next.
I stumbled onto your blog this afternoon and am loving your uncle's backyard. Seriously impressive.
