nothing like taking a picture and posting it and then thinking..."i don't like it."
so i did a little moving around and this is what i ended up with. granted i simplified and used what i had so when i get a chance i will get a slightly bigger frame and with a picture of all the kids in it.
NOW, this is my after.

After seeing your "before" photo of the shelf, I LOVE the paint change on the shelf. It went from being "country" and "primitive" to being fresh, and young with a modern twist. LOVE it.

It's beautiful and I love black furniture and trimmings. When I move things around... and I almost always don't like it. My husband rolls his eyes at me as I stare David Caruso style (my twisted body with my hand on my hip under my sportcoat and my eyes peeking out just above my 80's sunglasses) as I think and ponder - hubby says, "I suppose you think it'd fit better in a new house".
