a no craft kind of day

yesterday.
that's what i had.
i can't remember the last time during the week that i didn't "work" on something.
i spent all day in my sweats and flip flops.
i kept my blinds down.
had the fire going.
i folded laundry.
i watched a little max & ruby with katie.
talked to a friend on the phone.
i got to pick up a little around the house.
it was nice.
today though its all about starting the preparation for the big thanksgiving day.

and back to reality that i don't do "not working on something" for very long well.
oh well it was nice.

I've had a lot of not working while recuperating and that felt very weird. I'm back in the studio, knee high in fabric... just the way I like it :)

And Wed is all baking, all day. Yum.

I think I'm like you. If I don't have five or six "projects" going at the same time, I'm thinking about what to do next. We too had a no-craft day yesterday, but a major cleaning day to prep for Christmas decorating after Thanksgiving. Though Thanksgiving will be held at my mother-in-law's, she's a self-professed "not a cook" and I'm a well-known foodie so the next two to three days are still going to be jam packed with cooking! We're just bringing it all there . . .

Thank you for all the inspiration! And I'm glad you got a moment to take a rest.

Best,
Sarah

Sounds like you need a little break before all the excitement this week.

That's what today is for me. I realized early this morning that "I don't have to go anywhere today!!" so I'm hangin out in my sweatsuit, doing whatever the heck I want :).

Laundry boo!!! but I do like a good episode of max and ruby!

I like those kinds of days. And so do the people who depend upon me for clean clothes.

And I like Max & Ruby. My boys love it. Except they call it Max & Stinky. (I think there is some pent-up angst there towards their own older sisters.)

That is so impressive. i have a hard time chilling. I really want to and I think we need to but it is hard. Well done. As do-ers we need to stop and savor the moments, don't we? Enjoy your thanksgiving.Nancy
