This beautiful follow-up to Knit Red features stunning designs from more than 25 top sewing and quilting celebrities, along with three 28 x 40 black-and-white pattern sheets. Each showcased designer—including Amy Butler, Denyse Schmidt, Anna Maria Horner, Ty Pennington, and Kaffe Fassett—shares his or her experience with heart disease and offers tips for staying healthy.

I'm working on getting more sleep. I love the sleep part but I'm terrible at going to bed!
I should excersise a bit more, want to try yoga or something light like that. I want to tone but don't want to lose any weight. My diet is pretty healthy already though thanks to food allergies and sensitivities. Thecraftingfiend@gmail.com

Would love a copy of this book!

I need to exercise more, stress less and overall take care of myself. Thanks for making a blog post about this, it is a good reminder about how important heart heath is for women. dmlafrance@gmail.com
My family eats healthy, excessively so, but I have a weakness for donuts, which have too much processed sugar, and I sneak them on my way to work on Saturday. So I made a new years resolution to not eat any and have done well so far but if my daughter was not with me the other day I WOULD have gotten one. So I really need to stick to not consuming those sugar laden discs that tempt me so well. I guess I could also start exercising again, going up and down my stairs at home around 50 times a day, really does not count.

I would exercise more - I'm always great during warm weather but winter really gets me slacking!
Eating more fruits and fresh vegetables and working in more activity in our every day tasks. My mother died of heart disease she didn't know she had. She did not survive her first heart attack and that is the case for many women. I am thrilled to see awareness on a disease that kills more women each year than any other disease. Thank You! jpauley2004@gmail.com

In the past year I have gotten a lot more healthier by going to the gym, eating healthier homegrown and organic vegetables, cutting back on red meat. I have even given up soda. But for the life of me I can not give up the sugar in my tea or coffee. I have cut back but i would really like to conquer this habit!
This book looks great. I go to Curves four times a week and I eat my oatmeal every morning! Paula

This book looks fantastic! I am trying to drink lots of water and do kick boxing. I also try to not eat out very often. =)
As a woman looking at 60 in two short months and faced with the necessity of cholesteral lowering statins and also blood pressure on the cusp of needing medication, I have started walking a minimum of 20minutes a day and up to an hour on weekends. Eating wisely helps, but increased activity level is an absolute necessity for me!
I am working on eating healthier. When my kids lived at home, I was organized and efficient in the kitchen. Since they have moved off to college, I have slipped into eating whatever is convenient.
As soon as the snow melts I´ll drive to work by bike again.
ardreysend[at]hotmail[dot]com
For me it is more balance - working full time as a teacher and having 3 kids of my own I often feel that it's my needs that are met last. I want to be able to squeeze some exercise in every day - oh and I'd like to grow some of my own veggies too.
Oh one thing? I guess I should start eating smaller portions! Congrats on being in a book!!! amycav at hotmail dot com

I am currently looking for a jog stroller so I can walk more
I've been trying to commit myself to working out 3-4 times a week. It's hard, because I hate it. :) I find myself worrying about all of the diseases I could get or things that could happen to me, but I recently had the epiphany that while I can't ultimately control whether or not I get cancer or have certain genetic predispositions, I am in complete control of how much I exercise and what I eat. So, I've been trying to focus on those things within my realm, rather than the things that are ultimately out of my hands!
Less sugar at night... Oh chocolate, I just can't quit you... ;)

I'm already doing it! I have lost over 50 lbs, hubby and I joined the gym and go together 3x per week, we eat lots of fruits, veggies and lean protein, and I personally eat vegetable protein instead of animal protein 5x per week! Oh, and I got a new knee in October! Look out world!

One thing I would like/need to do is be okay with everything not getting done in a day. I need to relax and enjoy my kids, and worry less about the "mom jobs" that can wait.
well. I work with food. I wish I worked with fabric so that I wouldn't be tempted to eat so much fried stuff. thanks for the chance
Exercise is what I need. But I've just started (in my 3rd week) making a fruit/veggie/flax seek smoothie every day in order to eat better.
I need to exercise. I'll not say more as I don't exercise at all. In between working 30 hours at the hospital, looking after kids and college coursework, I just don't have the energy. However, the one thing I am working on changing is my children's lifestyles. My mum has recently had some heart problems and the Drs have told her that even though her diet in the last several years has been good, they believe the damage was done during her childhood. So, my aim is to give my children a healthier future by making sure they start now.
Yes, I would love to support the cause by buying the book, I just need to find it in the UK.
I would like to eat more veggies and fruits to be healthier! I'm doing the walking but those greens and I just aren't meeting each other enough!
I need to drink more water!
Love that red!!!
I would manage my food portion sizes better to be healthier.
I would stop drinking so much soda, I know this would make things better, but right now soda makes me happy.
