V and Co: cooks: 3 minute 3 ingredient mint fudge

last year i gave you this 3 minute fudge...well with the holidays in full swing lets add a little holiday twist to it shall we?

this fudge can go by many names: simple mint fudge, increase your jean size fudge, make your friends fat so you look good fudge...but i went with the "make you wanna make it cause you don't have time to keep up with the perfect homemaker down the street name": 3 minute, 3 ingredient mint fudge.

seriously, it's so easy that you can whip this bad boy up for neighbor gifts in like well...3 minutes. and have it look like you slaved away for hours when really you made it and then ate some before you brought it over.ready to make some?
okay.
ingredients needed:
 1. 14 oz condensed milk

2. CHOCOLATE: one 14 oz package of semi sweet chocolate chips. And one 10 oz package of Andes mint chips
3. 3 tablespoons of butter
*optional garnish is crush candy cane candy
instructions:

1. combine in your bowl your chocolate chips and your Andes mint chips
2. add condensed milk, and mix in. Add butter
3. microwave for three minutes, stir till smooth.
4. pour into a 9 x 9 pan for thick squares or a 9 x13 pan for thin squares

*to garnish if you'd like get some candy cane looking candy, and crush them
*sprinkle on top, and let cool.
tada! place them on a cookie platter, or in a little bag for neighbor gifts, or just eat them all, i don't judge.

yum yum!
see you monday with a tutorial.

Vanessa, you are a God-send. I was just about to make truffles for a family Christmas party tonight, which are easy, but not nearly as easy as this fudge. So, thank you for saving me about an hour of rolling the little truffle balls out and then rolling them in the Andes...pouring them all in a bowl and putting it in the microwave is perfect!

I tried this today in the crazy midst of making jewelry gifts, rolls for the church Christmas party, & other Christmas treats. Needless to say, this was the easiest thing I did all day & it was FABULOUS. I'm trying to stop stealing pieces for myself... good thing it's going bye-bye tomorrow. It's delicious, oh-so-easy, and impressive! :)

My daughter and I made these, but we only had canned milk......so we added a bunch of powdered sugar. We didn't have the Andes chips....where in Northern CA can you buy them.......so we added mint glug..glug....extract. The melted mass tastes like heaven, hope the brownies are as good as yours. Thank you!!!!

So much foe using what we had on hand. We have great choco-minty fudge sauce for ice cream. Oh well, it would be nice to live close to a grocery store on a Sunday. It was fun anyway, and we had mom-daughter fun.

Just made them with the kids this morning. Now how do you keep your fingers out of them until they cool?? Delicious!

We just got done making these. If the hardened product tastes anything like the bowl I am in heaven. :)

I just made these (as I kinda didn't believe that it would taste as good as "real" fudge) and it is AMAZING!!! I blogged about it and linked back to you ;) http://www.sirbubbadoo.com/2011/12/fastest-fudge-ever.html Thank you so much for sharing!

Wonderful! I made these and took them into work and they were a HIT! They thought I slaved away making the fudge that "melted in their mouth".

Thank you so much - need to make another batch now for the family.

Blessings,
Darlene

Made these tonight except I used peanut butter instead of mint chips. Soo good! My roommate, her boyfriend, and I are amazed by how easy this was and how delicious it tasted. We will be lucky if any makes it to the neighbours as planned!

Have a question for you...I made these tonight..they turned out really greasy...did I do something wrong? I didn't use any butter..just a bag of Nestles Dark Chocolate Chips, one bag of Andes Chips and one can of Sw Cond Milk. I had to use a lot paper towel to sop up all the oil. Could it be the Dark Choc Chips have a lot of oil in them? I have them in the fridge right now,,so not sure if they turned out??

Yummy! The real question is-where did you get those bowls?

Thanks so much for this recipe. We live in the uk so don't have Andes chips so we used supermarket own brand 'after eights' and they seem to have worked a treat. The mix tasted lovely and we are just leaving it to cool now. Can't wait to cut it into squares!

For the record, every time I make these I just buy a bag of Andes candy and unwrap them because I can never find the chips. Tastes super delicious and it comes out the same way.

I made that fudge last year and it was yummy, gave some to my neighbor who said it was the best she ever had. She likes choc/mint so I will try to find those mint chips and make that for her this year. Thank you.
