Well another year is upon us and I'm up to my eyeballs already and it's only the second week in January. I guess that's just the way it goes right? Well, with January already well on it's way we need to do a round up of our next holiday: VALENTINES DAY!
I wanted to highlight one of my quilts from the Simply Color: Red book
this one is called Queen of Hearts. It now lives permanently on the end of my daughter's bed, she's kind of obsessed with it so I let her have it after all the books were done. For pictures though we placed it on the chair and she wanted to be in the picture with Judgy Cat so I said sure…and this is what we got. :) Glad she loves it. And glad the cat loves her just as much as being on the quilt itself.

Now if you don't mind me off to the daily grind. On the horizon should be a couple of new patterns in the SHOP and also continue to patiently wait for the V and Co ombre. (by the end of January!!)

Yippee! Ombres are getting closer all the time :) And thanks, Vanessa, for the roundup of all your great Valentine's Day goodies. Maybe. . . just maybe, I'll be making some of these in January (instead of the middle of next month) this year!
Yes! I actually got word that the precuts have been shipped and the yardage is on its way as well!
Hey, Vanessa. Me, again. I just went to FQ Shop to check on your Ombres and aqua is missing/mislabeled and they have a teal. Did a color name get changed since last summer? Will you be listing who will be carrying yardage? Can you tell I'm excited?
karen, there should be 20 colors total… there's lagoon, turquoise, teal no aqua that's from an earlier group. i will go check my post and change the name of the color if i made the mistake. seems like they have all 20 colors but are missing the gray. that might have sold out i know that one sells super fast
Vanessa, hi. I am working on Flying South. I used a teal color and gray and eggplant. Please check quadrant 2, row 1 page 47 is purple, but the chart on page 43 is calling for gray. Not that I can't figure it out, but thought you might like to know. I am so excited about this quilt. Thanks, lin klopman Whitley
Also found a similar situation in quadrant 4, row 1. The picture shows purple, instructions say gray. Just letting you know.
Lin thanks! there are a couple of issues with purple seeing that something went wrong at the printers. head over to the lucky spool site for updates on purple! i'm really sorry for any inconvenience!
