Three minute Three ingredient MICROWAVE mint fudge

Since I'm all about last minute gifts and preparing for the holidays this year…my 3 minute 3 ingredient mint fudge is a must! a few years ago I gave you this 3 minute fudge...well with the holidays in full swing lets add a little holiday twist to it shall we?

This fudge can go by many names: simple mint fudge, increase your jean size fudge, make your friends fat so you look good fudge...but i went with the "make you wanna make it cause you don't have time to keep up with the perfect homemaker down the street name": 3 minute, 3 ingredient mint fudge.

Seriously, it's so easy that you can whip this bad boy up for neighbor gifts in like well...3 minutes. and have it look like you slaved away for hours when really you made it and then ate some before you brought it over.ready to make some?
okay.
ingredients needed:
 1. 14 oz condensed milk

2. one 14 oz package of semi sweet chocolate chips, one package of 10 oz Andes mint baking chips
3. Three tablespoons of butter one

*optional garnish is crush candy cane candy
instructions:

1. combine in your bowl your chocolate chips and your Andes mint chips
2. add condensed milk, butter, and mix in.
3. microwave for three minutes, stir till smooth.
4. pour into a 9 x 9 pan for thick squares or a 9 x13 pan for thin squares

*to garnish if you'd like get some candy cane looking candy, and crush them
*sprinkle on top, and let cool.
tada! place them on a cookie platter, or in a little bag for neighbor gifts, or just eat them all, i don't judge.

yum yum!
See you at the Gym on January 1st. ;)

My favorite variation if this is to make a thin layer with the chocolate in a 9x13 then do the same thing with a bag of peanut butter chips on top of the chocolate. So yummy! Oh, and I add 1 tsp vanilla to both layer as well.

Every year I make your fudge and every year it is a hit, especially with my stretch jeans and roomy tees :o) Question, though, that I've wondered as you've posted variations over the last couple of years: what happened to the butter? (see this version of the recipe, which is also the one you linked above: http://www.vanessachristenson.com/2010/09/3-minute-microwave-homemade-fudge.html) Did you find it's not necessary? I still add it, because of the whole "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality, and of course because heaven forbid I ruin a batch of fudge because I left out the butter. Just wondering :) Happiest of holidays to you and yours!

this sounds great. If I don't want mint, does using 2 packages of semi sweet morsels work as well? and I assume you add the butter after you have microwaved it? or at the same time as the morsels. and if I add vanilla I would add it at the end when I add pecans, lol. right? thank you!

perry you can do this version: http://www.vanessachristenson.com/2010/09/3-minute-microwave-homemade-fudge.html
and you add the butter in with the morsels!

I have a confession. I shared this recipe with my daughter, Helena. It's now called "Helena's Famous Fudge" at our house…. sorry to totally rip off your recipe, but I'm hoping since she was 9 the first time she made it (and named it after herself) that you'll forgive us. This is our GO TO recipe at the holidays and all year round! Thank you so much for sharing :)

Such a good and easy recipe! I make them every year and they are always a hit. The tricky part for me is to find the mints in Paris... Thank you for sharing.
