Winner of jaybird quilts

Welcome to our temporary home. This is where we'll sleep...

And this is where we will be living during the day. :)
We still have no internet hence why I'm doing this through my phone. We *should* have internet by next Tuesday.
Now for the winner:

I really like all of Julie's patterns my fav of the moment would have to say Chopsticks

Julie has already been notified and forwarded your info Jo!
Thank you all for playing!

Okay, while I'm in limbo this summer, I'm going to be closing the comments and just blogging a few lines of our life and what im up to with a few pictures to go with it. I will of course let everyone know (uh after we tell our families first) where and when we will be moving for the second and more permanent time (lets hope ita sooner than later!) And then if I get stuff done I will post it, but basically I'm taking the summer off...sort of. I'm going to enjoy the husband and kiddos all being "home" at the same time...of course we'll be spending it mainly at the water park, but that's okay. So yeah. Starting next week closed comments, but I'm still here. And you can contact me via email, or Facebook, or twitter.
We'll talk soon :)

Congratulations to Jo. I know you'll love your prize. I have to say I'm totally jealous. LOL

And to you Vanessa ~ MUCH luck. I can think of worse places to spend the entire daytime for the summer. At my age now I wouldn't be super thrilled but 20+ (we won't discuss HOW many years that "+" might signify haha) yrs ago I would have loved spending my entire day next to a pool. Use that sunscreen though OK! You certainly don't want to have a nasty sunburn 'cause that's NOT the most fun. I had way too many of those when I was younger and am shocked I am not sporting all sorts of nasty brown spots all over my legs and face from that exposure. One of those burns put me on my stomach for two days while a very awesome neighbor woman came three times a day and put medicated creams on my burns.

Anyway, much luck to you both finding a spot to call home soon. Enjoy the time off from your blog if you can honestly stay away that long. LOL

I've lost a job and had to move suddenly...it's not fun and is scary, but I had to keep telling myself that it was a good adventure, right? My best to you and I pray that you find a permanent home soon and safely! Hope that you find peace in that you have each other and that you are together. God bless you!

Oh, sister, I am SO there with you! We missed out on our bid to buy our Dream House, so we're in a rental (not nearly so nice as your little abode) for what we *hope* is just a few months until we snag a super deal.

Best wishes this summer--we'll be pooling it, too, I hope!
