New Patterns for V and Co Confetti Metallic Ombre Fabric and sale!

HELLO! I'm So Excited to FINALLY show off on the blog our new patterns for our new Confetti Metallic Ombre fabric shipping to stores February of 2018. The great thing about these patterns while they feature this great new fabric...it works perfectly with our V and Co Ombre fabric we've had in stores and in our shop for years.

Our new fancy pants Confetti Metallic Ombre will feature the same 20 colors that our V and co ombre are, but just added sparkle and happy. :) Please contact your local quilt store or your online store to request that they carry the fabric!

Okay first up is Confetti

 Named after our new ombre because doesn't it look like confetti being thrown around? This pattern comes in three sizes and uses a fat quarter bundle to make! All 20 colors are used in this quilt but it looks like you use so many more fabrics because of the gradient in the ombre fabric. In our pattern we specifically show you how to cut the ombre fabric to get the look! It also includes color diagrams and images. This would be a great pattern to try out our V and Co ombre fat quarter bundle we have in our shop. or mix and match the Confetti ombre with the regular ombre as well! This is a great beginner quilt.

Up next is a fun pattern we are collaborating with Needle in a Hayes Stack called Ombre Weave:

 This beautiful quilt uses all 20 colors and measures at 47" x 57 1/2" and is the perfect small throw size  for a child.

Or a great baby's quilt. Want to make it bigger? Just double the the fabric and get a great large quilt! This quilt is Jelly Roll friendly and we show you in color diagrams and illustrations how to cut the fabric to achieve this look. Template is included in pattern.

Next we have this great quilt called All Star:

 Again this quilt uses all 20 colors of the V and Co ombre available. It takes a half yard bundle to make the largest size available in the pattern of 80" x 96" 
This pattern includes color illustrations, diagrams and pictures and step by step instructions. Great beginner quilt! Three sizes are included in the pattern.

Now lets introduce Candy Wrapper:

 Candy Wrapper is made using applique and traditional piecing. This quilt is made out of a Fat Quarter V and Co Ombre Bundle, and comes with instructions on three sizes.

The quilt featured on the cover is 72" x 90". The pattern includes step by step instructions and color images, diagrams and illustrations to help you along the way. Another great beginner quilt!

Finished size of the quilt on the cover is 56 1/2" x 68". Pattern includes three sizes of quilts.

New V and Co Ombre Pattern Fall Breeze

Hello! I know I know! I said I would introduce the new Confetti Metallic Ombre patterns and some of them are already up in the shop for purchase...but I had to put that aside because we haven't finished putting all of the new patterns up for sale, that will happen later on next week. So Next week we will do a nice long post with introductions to each one of them! 

I do though want to introduce one new pattern in our shop that feature our traditional V and Co Ombre. 

Fall Breeze is made with 5 of our 20 V and Co ombre: Avocado, Mustard, Plum, Persimmon, and Magenta. Back ground with Moda Fabrics Cross Weave Black on Black (we don't have any on sale with our ombre bundle but you can find it on a lot of online and local quilt stores! Ask your local quilt store if they have it! Or google to find some online!)

This quilt is a beautiful quilt using just 5 ombre fabrics 2/3 yard of each to make the leaves and stems. Thats the beauty of our ombre fabric! So many shades that make it seem you used many different solid fabrics for the pattern. :)

The quilt finishes at 60" x 72" and is a beautiful quilt to have for the upcoming fall! For this weekend only the PDF pattern is on sale for $5!!

We also have the ombre bundle with pdf pattern available (pdf is an instant download sent via email through a link and the time of purchase and we do not include background fabric), but because this bundle was introduced on our instagram account a couple days ago, and due to the large sales volume,  (and Hurricane Harvey being difficult! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Texas!) this bundle is on back order, and we promise to do our best to get it to you quicker than the 2 weeks delay we predict of purchase.

New Ombre Confetti Metallic Fabric by V and Co. for Moda

Well, the time has come when we can finally divulge our fun news! (We've missed talking to you but you'll see why it's been quiet over here in a second)
V and CO. OMBRE JUST GOT FANCY! 

Introducing Ombre Metallic CONFETTI by yours truly.  

We put a saying on the selvage: "spread kindness like its confetti!" We love this message and we hope it inspires you as you sew to think of ways to be kind to others and to yourself. :) 

We are SO excited about this fun added sparkle! It's the same Ombre you have loved for the past few years BUT all dressed up with some GOLD sparkles and colorful confetti! 

OH SAY WHAAAAA? Yep, you heard us! All 20 of the V and Co. Ombre Colors are now available to purchase through your Moda rep (if you're a quilt store) and will be shipping this coming January 2018.

The fantastic news is that all our past ombre patterns totally works with this new fabric! SO LIKE ALL THE PATTERNS YOU ALREADY OWN? CAN NOW BE MADE WITH A LITTLE EXTRA SPARKLE!

COOL RIGHT?!
We will have in our shop half yards and fat quarter bundles, and maybe some Jelly Rolls. :) If you're a quilt store make sure you order as many Jelly Rolls as you can because I'm pretty sure those suckers are going to fly and if this ombre becomes a basic like our regular ombre? The Jelly Rolls are only available when you first order and then they are done and out of stock for like ever. Just Sayin.

These fabrics just like our basic V and Co ombre (available now through MODA or through our shop if you're not a quilt store), have such a great range of shades of the same color. You can make a quilt look like you used so many different fabrics when in actuality you only used a few! 

With the release of these new fabrics we will have a few new patterns available! And those patterns will be announced later on this month. We will have a nice sale when we announce those!

We're so happy to say we are now fully stocked and have 1/2 yard bundles and Fat Quarter Bundles available of all 20 V and Co Ombre fabrics.

You can make this Criss Cross Apple Sauce with a 1/2 yard bundle (minus the background fabric)

We also have Prism Ombre fabric bundles that when purchased will come with the paper pattern for the quilt. This is one of our most popular quilt pattern and rightfully so! Its so pretty and lovely!!

These fabrics are so fun to work with and we are SO excited with how popular they have become! In the past we have hardly been able to keep them in stock until the next shipment! 

But we have figured out a system and we are happy to say we can keep most of them in stock for a while.
AND we are super excited to start introducing more ombre patterns! Some new ones, and we are making some of our older more popular ones into ombre compatible as well like this Endless Summer Quilt Pattern!!!

This version of Endless Summer Requires a 1/2 yard bundle and uses all 20 of the ombre colors. No pattern yet, but if you have the pattern you would follow the same instructions for construction, only you would be making 4 of a block for each color. 

We're hoping to get this one and a few more later on this summer in the shop. :)
